Feb 27th-Sketch Challenge

Hello fellow scrappers..

It's Nanné here today to share with you our second sketch challenge for the month of February..The sketch was designed by me and here it is:

Super fun and can be used to create a CAS style layout or card..

Here is my take on my sketch:

I decided to use up some of the millions of paper flowers I've been hording the last few years..LOL
I will add a photo of my husband to this layout as soon as I get some of our vacation photos developed :)

How about a few close ups and some details:

I created an over sized heart, but covered the middle of it, so you can't tell what it is..LOL
Once I started adding flowers, I couldn't stop..LOL

This is a digital element, that I traced, printed and cut with my Silhouette Cameo..
Love that little machine..

my large cluster of flowers and some hearts..

and finally added a few journaling cards to my layout..

Now, how about our top three from the February 6th Die cut challenge: Key to My Heart

Thank you for stopping by today and don't forget to come back daily to check out what our amazing design team has done using this sketch..
Till next time..

Hugs, Nanné

Some Kind of Wonderful

Hello! I'm Vivian and today is my day to inspire you with this week's die cut challenge - Clothing!!

I'll admit it - I resisted this challenge at first. I had to search my pinterest board until I found a layout I really liked and wanted to scrap lift.

I loved the thought of a huge paper bow on my layout. I just added a feminine dress for fun really, but the true "die cut clothing" is the bow tie.

I started out using a homemade kit (from my own supplies) but then it morphed into opening drawers, pulling out bling, etc etc. This layout took on a life of it's own. Considering it has been WEEKS since I made a page so I am really happy with how this turned out.

More details and a list of supplies are on my personal blog. So hop on over and check it out!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

All Dolled Up...

It's Katy, back again, with this week's Die-Cut Challenge...all about CLOTHES!!!

I chose to do a pocket-style scrapbooking layout much like my fellow Die-Cut Teammate, Nanne, does so well...

------------------------------------------------------
I usually do all my shopping online...so when the BOX comes it, I have my daughter try everything on and model for my husband! I plan on putting some pictures of our little modeling session on these pages to help her remember these days!

Most of the clothing is pop-dotted with some thin 3D-Foam Tape. Also...this entire layout is made using Cricut files. You can head over to my BLOG to see more close-ups of the clothes!

Thanks for looking...

I hope you'll play along...anything CLOTHING-related goes!!!

You can link up your project {{{here}}} before next Friday!

A few close ups.
My 'Clothing' die cut is the dress form .....which I cut from cricut Nifty Fifty's cartridge,

Super Bros

Leah Schaeffer sharing with you all today!
Didn't you just love Nanne's double Project Life layout she shared
on Friday? Along with our new Die Cut Challenge...
Clothes!
I think this is a fun challenge for sure! I look forward to seeing
what our Design Team creates this week and to see
what you all make as well!
Now, even though my "subjects" here happen to really be
missing some clothing...LOL, these darling superhero die cuts fit the bill!

I layered my city scene pieces both behind and in front to give more dimension to the page. My white paint splattered stars actually help blend everything together as this page is pretty busy. I used a stamped sentiment from Craftin' Desert Divas and then a tiny bit of journaling. I'll admit this layout took forever. I made another title for the bottom of the layout, all in single letters and by the time I was done, I was too tired to glue another title letter by letter. It read, Super Bros, Taking Out One Sister at a Time =) Thanks for letting me share...having a great Sunday!

Die Cut Challenge - Clothing

Hi everyone and welcome to Stuck On U Sketches! Julie here from Cards By Cricut with my take on this week's Die Cut Challenge - Clothing. This was an interesting challenge to say the least. I had a lot of fun and a lot of wondering on what I was going to do. I first went through my stamps to come up with some kind of saying that would go with clothing and that was when I discovered the saying "Hang in there" from My Pink Stamper. I thought this was perfect if I could find some kind of clothes line. So now to search the Cricut cartridges and low and behold there is a clothes line with clothes on it. It is on the Country Life cartridge. You can find all the details about my card on my blog Cards By Cricut. Here is a close up of the clothes on the line. I added the twine to make it look more real.

Well, I hope that you all join us this week in this really fun challenge with the chance to be in our Top 3. Thank you so much for coming to our blog SOUS and have a great weekend!

Feb 20th-Die Cut challenge: Clothing

Hi Fellow crafter's..
So glad you stopped by today to check out our die cut challenge for this week..

It's Nanné here to share a project with you that I created for today's reveal.
Since most of us are in the heart of Winter or in the middle of Summer (for our Aussie friends), we would love to see your projects with die cuts of  CLOTHING..

I decided to create a Project Life spread and focused on Winter..
Here is what I created:

I added lots of fun details to my week and focused on some of the photos I had taken that week, which I need to have printed..

How about a few close ups and some details:
My first page, I took a couple of photos of my boys as they were dressed in the
Winter best..so, I will add those to the blank cards..

For this page, I added my CLOTHING element, which is the sweater up top..
I also bake a lot, so I always tend to add a "baked" element to my pages..

My son is in the Finnish army, he gets to come home every other weekend so, I added the Home Sweet Home card for him..

I had baked some Apple danishes, its why I have added apples to my PL spread.. Mmmmm  LOL
I'll also add the recipe which I used for future use, in case my kids might wanna try it out one day.

and now, for our top 3 from the Sketch challenge of January 30th:

Marci

Sue

Sharon

Congratulations ladies.  We absolutely loved your take on our sketch..
You can grab out top3 badge off of the side bar and show case it proudly on your blogs..

Now, you have two weeks to play along with today Die Cut challenge..
One of our  designers will be show casing her project everyday for the next week , so don't forget to come by and check it out..

Till next time..
Happy Scrapping

Sweet Boy-Feb 13 Sketch

Hi SOUS friends! Happy Thursday. It's Stephanie here today to share my layout using the current sketch by the fabulous Nanne!
While we just celebrated Valentine's Day, I didn't use a Valentine photo, but rather one of my son (from a few years ago) when he was dressed up in his big sister's accessories!! He is a hoot!

I used the Kiss Me collection from Bella Blvd. here. Although it is a layout about my son, I felt this line was appropriate because he was dressing up as a girl!!

I hand cut a medium sized heart from a piece of patterned paper & placed it behind my photo to follow the sketch. I added some flair buttons that go perfectly with the picture.

I adored all the paper strips in the sketch as I love mixing & matching patterns & this sketch allowed me to do just that!

We hope you get the chance to play along. If you do, remember to link up & share your creation with us. We love seeing what you do with the sketches!!
Thanks for visiting today!

Oh Happy Day!

Good morning SOUS friends! It's Charlotte here today with my layout done with Nanne's Feb. 13th sketch. I had so much fun with this sketch because it had so many yummy layers in it and I love to layer papers, especially when they're super cute and colorful!

I used a line from Echo Park for this layout of my granddaughter. I just loved this photo of her when I first saw it as her eyes just popped out at me. It's hard to tell from the photo, but they are a beautiful blue and so sparkly. I knew this would be the one for this sketch! I loved all the fun embellishments in this line and once again, I mounted most of them on cardstock before adhering them to the paper. I used pop dots to give some dimension to the layout as well.

If you can join in the sketch challenge, make sure to link up your layout. Just look on the side bar for the current sketch tab.

Hello, Roma

Hello, friends. It's Eli from Scrap-colors to realize a page with the weekly sketch by Nanné. Today I have for you a layout about Rome. Ok, you can't see anything about this city, but I can explain. When you go to Rome, you have to leave a coin into Fontana di Trevi to come back in it. It's a rite. You have to put yourself with your back to the fountain and throw the coin without looking. In the photo, my daugther is doing it, because she loves Rome and she wants to visit it again.

Details about the layout: I used washi tapes, dots, hearts and papers in soft colors, with a touch of black.
