Atlantis - June 5th Sketch

Welcome. Welcome dear friends.

Jane with you today.

You will know our sad news by now.

After five and a half years Nanne and Leah have
 decided, after much soul searching,
to close down the challenges here at
Stuck On U Sketches.

I have been with them on the full journey - from
 Sketch No 1 in 2009!

And I was so delighted when they asked me to join the
 Design Team in June 2011.

I am so going to miss the fortnightly sketches
 from my beautiful friends.

So, in honour of my beautiful friends here
at SOUS I decided to break into my
 treasured collection of
Graphic 45 papers!

Shock, horror.

Yes, I have EVERY G45 collection,
and it takes a very special
occasion to actually use it - LOL!

So, here is my take on the penultimate
 sketch from our Nanne...

Using Graphic 45 "By The Sea"

Always plenty of images for fussy
 cutting with G45.

The stunning Atlantis Hotel in Dubai.
Hubby and I stayed here for five nights in 2012.
What an Hotel!
It even has a massive aquarium inside!
 We were super impressed.
 It is truly magnificent.

The chipboard reeds are from
 Twiddleybitz "Bulrush & Butterfly"
 (I cut the butterfly off!)

To get the effect on the bulrushes,
 I mixed three different embossing
 powders together.

This is a great sketch to showcase five photo's
 on one page, something we
 don't do enough of.

We hope you have time to join us with
 this penultimate sketch.

And remember, there's only one more......

Hugs until then...
