Hi folks.
Good to see you here at Stuck On U Sketches.
Jane here with my take on
 Leah's newest sketch
(which you will find on the right side bar).
Using a treasured family photo from 1934.
I have used the gorgeous
 "English Rose"
papers from
 KaiserCraft.
Beautiful flowers from
 Prima "Parisa Winston Mix"
and a couple of roses from stash.
The green fronds are a die from
 Tattered Lace "Flourish Swirls".
I bought the lace and trim when I
was in New York last September
from a store all you American girls
will be familiar with
 - M & J Trimmings on Sixth Avenue.
We just don't have an equivalent here in
the UK (unless you've found one Carole?).
I have bought some of the beautiful laces
from Tresors de Luxe in the past.
But after paying for the products,
and the postage, I was then
slugged for import tax when it came
 into the UK!
So I really stocked up when I was in New York.
Good job lace isn't heavy on the
 baggage allowance!
The cameo, doily, hat pin and seam binding
are from an Australian company called
Tattered Inspirations "Springtime Love Mini Kit".
Little kits of gorgeous elements ready to
add to your projects - perfect!
Thank you again for joining me today.
I hope I have given you a little inspiration,
and that you will have time to join our
 sketch challenge.
We love to see your interpretations
 of the sketch.
Remember to join us daily for more
 inspiration from my
SOUS Sisters.
Hugs for now
