Die cut challenge-Snowman

Wow!! These Friday's sure do show up fast, don't they?..LOL

and so, Hello fellow scrappers..

its a die cut Friday today and for this week we decided to treat you to cut instead of a theme..

Original Sketch Challenge ~ Debbie Burns GD

So sad to say, but this is our last sketch for the month of January.. but I'm sure you are going to love it as much as we did.. It was so much fun to use and all of our ladies on the design team did an amazing job with it as usual and its such a joy to see how all the layouts are still so different from each other...

so, here is the sketch that Nanné created for you to have fun with:

Please welcome Debbie Burns:

Hi, my name is Debbie Burns and I'm thrilled to be a guest designer for SOUS. I was on the DT for SOUS in 2010 and loved it and was excited when Sandi asked me to be a guest designer! I'm a Maryland girl. I have lived here my whole life. I have two grown children ages 21 and 24 and one precious, loyal dog! My daughter just moved out a week ago and I am still adjusting to it. One down, one to go! Besides scrapbooking I love to garden. In the spring and summer I divide my time between my scrapbook room and flowers gardens!

I started scrapbooking in 1999 after receiving an album "All About Me" as a birthday gift from my family. I took a beginners class by Creative Memories and was hooked. I'm amazed at how my much my style has changed over the years. I love to work with a mix of pattern papers and always try to add special little details to my layouts. A must have for me is my ink pads! It's like the icing on the cake! I also love having a good sketch as the starting point for my layout.

Winter Fun-Die Cut challenge

TGIF scrappers...

"We're so happy its Friday again, for many reasons I'm sure, but us getting to share a die cut challenge is among the very best of reasons, right?..LOL

So, this week for our die cut challenge, we chose a theme instead of a particular cut.. Our theme for this week is WINTER FUN..

Now, we all know that living in different parts of world, all of our winters are different, right?..some of us have snow and others do not.. some of us are cold and some of us are not..So, our challenge is for you to share with us your interpretation of WINTER FUN.. no matter what it is or how it is..

Our Design team have done some awesome examples for you on how they see Winter fun and I was so excited when I seen them all.. they are are fantastic and original, which is what our team is all about.. showing you how different the same challenge can be to so many..

January 6th 2012-Sketch Challenge

Welcome to our very first challenge on the new year..

We are so excited and blessed to have made it through out these few years and we could not have made it without all of you.. So, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts..

To start off this year, we decided to share with you an original sketch by Nanné.. Our design team has once again created some amazing layouts using our sketch and we hope that this sketch inspires you to join in on the fun.. Remember, you have two weeks to submit your project, it needs to be a new project and you need to take inspiration from our sketch..

We are so pleased this week to have returning Guest Designer Lisa Gregory joining for this challenge! She is well-known in the scrapbook world and is currently on the Design Team for Zva Creative and has used some of their newest products on her layout today! Below is what Lisa has shared regarding her personal life!

Hi, my name is Lisa Gregory and I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I am a Registered nurse by profession. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 grown children. Our son is married, lives nearby, and our daughter is away attending Le Cordon Bleu Academy studying to be a Chef and working at Disney World! I have been crafting my whole life, and found scrapbooking in 2005 when I was helping my son and girlfriend (now daughter in law) do their senior projects. A scrapbook of their lives. I took one walk down the scrapbook isle at Michaels, and was hooked! My style is ever changing as I play with new techniques. I can go from soft shabby chic to down and dirty grunge depending on my mood. I am lucky to be able to lock myself away in my studio to create. Scrapbooking is therapy for me. Give me a little bit of sparkly bling and a handful of flowers and a great sketch , and I am a happy girl!

My name is Agnieszka but in the scrapbooking world I go by Bellaidea.

Together with my husband - I'm still dating him - we're taking care of our two treasures - a Girl and a Boy.

I love travelling, taking photos, oranges and African bush aroma, cheesecake with real vanilla, Pavlova dessert, old; books, pictures and houses, doillies, trips with friends to Italy, evenings by the fireplace, milk chocolate from Lindl, mystery perfumes, nut ice-creams, reading books to my children(no matter they can read by themselves), audiobooks during long distance drives, praising people for their talent and creativity and meeting with other nice ladies for a cup of coffee.

I scrapbook for many reasons-to preserve memories, to make my kids remember I always care about them, to have MY time when I need it, to keep in touch with all my scrap-friend all over the work.

My style is eclectic , part of romantic, touch of whimsy,I like to use lace, chipbords, doillies, torned corners, fussy cutting etc but never forget the most important is the photo and a story. Sometimes I hide my journaling when it`s very personal...

I design my favourite 12×12 Lo's for several websites. It satisfies me strongly. I`m very happy about cooperation with SOUS!Thank you so much for invitation, it was very nicw suprise for me.

I love challenges and I often take part in them. Sometimes the effects are really surprising.
