Good morning! It's Charlotte here from Scrapsational to share with you a layout I did using Nanne's sketch for April 10. I love the layers in this sketch and used quite a few different patterned papers to build it up. I used my Silhouette to cut out the background and the word love.
I recently started using a little money saving technique that I'd like to share with you. Scrap supplies can get very expensive as we all know, but I found myself going broke with adhesives, especially when you have sketches with lots of yummy layers to them. What I have started doing is arranging all my background papers and then stapling them on. The whole background is held together with 4 staples and then I used adhesives to attach the photo. Usually I use pop dots as I like to put embellishments poking out from beneath the picture. Plus it keeps the photo away from the staples as I'm not sure they are acid free. Doing this one little thing has saved me so much money.
This layout was done to document my daughters new found passion. She started dancing in the Fall of 2013 and is still going strong to now. Her first recital was very exciting for all of us.
Please do give the sketch a try and make sure to link it up on the side bar! Until next time! :)
