Ellis Island - March 13th Sketch

Thanks for joining us here today at

Stuck On U Sketches.

 

Jane here with my layout using the latest

 sketch from Leah, which you will find

 on the right side bar, and which will also take you

 to the post where you can add your

 interpretation of the sketch.

 

I hope you have time to play along with

 this great sketch.

I have used papers from

 Kaiser "Le Chateau" collection

 and "Base Coat".

Instead of three individual photo's on the page,

 I decided to go with just one large photo.

The black hinges are from the Tim Holtz die

 "Hardware Findings".

The flowers are from Petaloo.

Extra embellishments from

 Kaiser "75 cents" collection.

For the background paper I have used stamps

 from various companies - Kaiser, Making Memories and Flourishes,

 and I have just randomly stamped all over

 the page - quite fun really!

A wee length of fibre tied in a bow and a metal heart

 trinket attached to finish.

The photo is from my recent USA trip, this time

 Ellis Island in New York Harbor, where a few

of my ancestors passed through in the

 early years of the 1900s.

 

Another highlight of my trip.
