May 22 Sketch

Hi friends. Leah here today to share my sketch with you
all and to share my interpretation of it as well. Simple design
but I am sure you'll all blow us away with what
you do with it. Not to mention the amazing team here!
Looking forward to seeing it all.

I made a bright and playful layout featuring a fun picture of
my oldest kiddos from last year at the boardwalk.
They sat together and rode the kids roller coaster over and over
again, it was super cute!

Since the layout is busy with color and prints, I kept the embellishments
simple by adding stickers matching this paper collection and a few sparkly enamel dots.

Let me also share our Top 3 from our Mothers Day
Die Cut Challenge.
Thank you to all you lovely ladies for having shared with us.

Have a great weekend buddies!

May 8 Sketch

Time to share a new sketch challenge with you all today!
We are glad to have you come by.
This sketch was inspired by my love of watercolor with the brush
strokes in the background and the paintbrushes.
Simple sketch but I love the openness that still allows for adding
your own touch. Which, this week we'll see with
our amazing design team and their daily posts!

We have so many beach camping trips scheduled for this Summer
so this page was getting me excited for trips to come!
I used the sketch for inspiration on where to add my embellishment clusters.

I mixed a bit of premade embellishments (like the awesome embossed starfish and
precut tag) with some electronic die cut pieces, like the surf boards.

Okay now before you head out, we'd like to share our Top 3 from
the April 17 Die Cut Challenge

March 27 Sketch Reveal

Leah here today sharing the newest sketch designed for all
you happy scrappers! Hope you like!
Can't wait to see what you create and what our team creates as well!
You can come by now each day, or come by and stay awhile
and get to see our girls work in more detail with daily posts! Yay!
Let's get to it!
I really had such a good time making this! Love the bold prints and really...what's not to love
when you are scrapping such dang cute subjects! Yeah, I'm that person
that thinks my kids are cuter then anyone elses! HA!

Many times I have my layouts, particularly pages that are mostly die cuts, designed out before creating. This time I kinda of played as I went along.  Everything was finished and then at the end, added a few stickers here and there.

Thank you for coming by today! Have a great weekend!

January 30 Sketch Reveal

Hi my friends! It's Leah here sharing today, our newest sketch and my layout!
I have to say this layout is a rare one. It's bold and fun which I would say is part of "my style" but the "rare" part...there's not a single die cut thing to be found! Yes! Shocking, I know! Even though I rarely scrap this way, it's a nice break each time I do. Plus it's fun to really get the chance to go through my stash and shop what I have. Often in my more designed pages, there isn't total room to go nuts with embellishing. This was a different story though and I got lots of goodies added in!

Before I go much further. The base of my page DID make this sketch! It did! But at the end, I wanted even more small pops of color and then added some small scraps of papers (that look like more layering). So the green and yellow paper that looks like added layers in the background were the smallest of scraps!

Let me also share our Top 3 from the January 9th
Die Cut Challenge- Snow!
Loved each and every project so thank you all for having shared with us!

Here Comes The Fun

   Hello all you scrappers!
We are so glad that you stopped in today
to hopefully check out our newest sketch challenge.
You can easily scrap just a single
photo, or even load up on more then just 3.
We've often heard requests for sketches accommodating
more then a single photo. So hope this helps you
get some photos scrapped!
Well, it's Leah sharing today so let's get onto my project. Lots of layered die cuts
and some stamping to bring a bit more interest to the cuts
instead of searching through all my patterned papers.

Here when ungrouping my title piece, I deleted the "sun" and added "fun" instead. Just a way to make die cut images work for what you want them to. You can edit, delete or add things to make it just the way you'd like for your project. It's why I'm such an electronic die cutting fan!

We're glad to have you come by and thanks
for those regularly visiting to see
our Design Team daily projects.

Our FIRST Sketch Challenge of 2015!

Hi friends, Leah here today sharing the very first
sketch of 2015! WOOHOO!

Since I am still dealing with some health issues lingering from December I wanted to do a layout that wasn't the usual extreme time suck that most of my involved die cutting projects are. My only die cut piece is the sketchy circles in the background. Cut on glitter paper, that was tricky to pull apart, even on this bigger scale.

The rest of my page is created with stickers that came from the paper collection and then some other layering pieces from my stash. It was nice for a change to put together something that could come together a bit more quickly! Good for some instant gratification! LOL!

It was such a treat to get to create this, since it was my first layout in some weeks!
You almost don't realize how much you miss something until you really get to do
it again! Thanks again for visiting and hope you'll share your
creation with us today! So get scrapping!
