Please Say Hello to Jennifer

We are so excited to have Jennifer as our Guest Designer this week. You may know her as JBock on the cricut mb or have possibly visited her lovely blog, Scrapper at Heart. One of the most facinating things about Jennifer (besides her amazing talent) is her dualing scrapbooks. She scraps each page for both of her wonderful boys, creating not just a family album but a treasure book for each of her children. What a mom!!!! Please pay Jennifer a visit....just click here.....in the meantime enjoy a bit of her bio and her lovely creations for this weeks guest spot.
Thanx for coming out to play with us Jennifer!!

My name is Jennifer. I'm a wife to my scrapbooking supporter husband, Charlie. I have two amazing little boys. Max is 7 and Evan is 6. They are my inspiration for scrapping. I have been scrapping for 10 years now although my scrapping life changed when I got my first Cricut in July 2006.

Paper is like chocolate to me...I've never met any that I didn't like. My favorite tools would have to be my Gypsy and Cricut. I don't have a favorite color to scrap with...I like them all. I would have to say that most of my inspiration comes from my own head. I like to think outside the box when I scrap and challenge myself to always create something new and fresh. I used to scrap every day but I probably scrap about 4 times a week now. Thank you for asking me to be a GD this week!!

We hope that you all enjoy the variety of sketches we give you. Not sure if you guys know this but each of us on the DT get to choose the sketches. Some being pretty simple and straight forward (that being very challenging for some of us) and others complex with lots of detail! We hope that somewhere between all these styles that you will find something that you enjoy and that you will join along with us!
This is another sketch from Pagemaps.. They have a great selection with lots to choose from.

We are sad to say that our friend Sandi Clarkson is out of town this week, and possibly next week as well. So we won't have her pages to look forward to! I am sure she is missing us and is missing all your wonderful blogs and projects! Can't wait for her to get back!

But for now....we've got.....

March 12 Patterned Paper Challenge

Hello, dear followers and first time visitors! It's Friday again and time for a reveal that the design team has anxiously awaited! First, we have a great sketch by Becky Fleck (Pagemaps.) We always have a lot of positive feedback when we post sketches with multiple photo opportunitues. This one works great! Hope you enjoy it!

But, secondly, our designers were challenged to use four papers donated by Generations Crafting. Yep, all four desingers will be using the same papers this week with maybe a smidge or two from their own stash. We thought it would be fun to see how differently four people can use the same paper. We realize that you may or may not have these on hand yourself but maybe you can stretch yourself this week by choosing 4 papers that are a little outside your comfort one! If not that's okay too! A big thanks you to Floren for this donation of paper! Please visit her store at http://www.generationscrafting.com/.

One more thing, we also have a little blog candy donated by Generations. This one has all Spring themed goodies in it. We'll be choosing a lucky winner from those who leave comments. Good luck.

Alright, let's see what the design team has done with those papers!

This Weeks Guest Designer!!!!

A Night In Paris
by
Debbie Burns
Look at this amazing layout created by this weeks guest designer, Debbie Burns. Debbie is an incredible paper artist and brings her pages to life with the creative flare she has for color, texture and design. We are so blessed to have her as part of our wonderful challenge this week. Thanx so much Debbie....We love your work!
We hope you will take the time to stop by Debbie's blog and breathe in a little fresh creative air...here is a bit about Debbie in her own words.
I am a single mom to a son 22 and daughter who will turn 20 on March 4th. My third child is my precious dog Zoey. I have been hooked on scrap booking for 12 years. I love the creativity it has unleashed in me. My life at times can be pretty stressful, and my outlet in the evenings is working on a layout.
My favorite paper line at the current moment is Die Cuts With A View. I just bought their new paper pack, Songbird. It is so darn cute! Who knows what my favorite will be next week. LOL!
My favorite tool is my Cricut and Cricut Expression. I love the capabilities you have when combining the machine with the Design Studio.
My favorite color to scrap with is brown.
My inspiration comes from all the beautiful galleries and blogs. I love to look at other peoples work. So many that I admire and so many that make me push harder to be more creative.
I try to put aside a little time each evening to work on a layout. If it's only 15 minutes, that's okay. I look forward to the weekend when I can spend lots more time in my scrapbook room.

Okay, scroll on down to the next post to see the other designers work.

March 5 Bling it up challenge!

This week's sketch is a Becky Fleck original from Pagemaps. We always love her traditional style. We hope this one will work well for one of your upcoming pages! Our twist on the challenge this week is BLING! We know you got it, so flaunt it, baby! Show us some bling! Crystals, rhinestones, pearls ... anything that shines. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Here is what we did this week:
