January 4, 2013- Original Layout Sketch reveal

Hello fellow scrappers..

We made it another year and we're starting 2013 with a bang.. Were going to try to bring some new and exciting challenges this year and for our first layout challenge of the year, we had our designer Nanné create this Fridays' layout sketch..

Its semi-simple so there are lots of ways to use it.. and remember that the sketches are suppose to inspire you and should be used in your own creative way..

So here is our first sketch of the new year:

We also want to challenge you to get rid of some of your scraps from 2012 so, our extra challenge for this sketch is to

*USE SCRAPS ONLY!

(Its not mandatory though..)

Our designers have created to impress this week.. These have to be one our very best layouts and were so excited to share them with you.. Do stop by all of our designers personal blogs to get more information on their layouts, just click on their blog links which are located underneath their layouts.

Wowzahs!! How awesome were those.. Were certainly impressed with out talented design team members.. not only with our sketch team, but our die cut and card team as well..

and for our top3 from our die cut challenge of December 14th

TOYS, TOYS, TOYS!!

We only had two participants and since the second one didn't follow our die cut rules, we only chose the one as our top1..LOL

Thank you Melissa for finding the time to play along :)

January 2, 2013- Original Card sketch

Frist of all: All of us girls here at S.O.U.S want to wish everyone of you a Very Happy New Year..

and we hope Santa was kind to you this year with lots of scrappy goodies under your tree..

We want to start off this year with a card sketch that was created by Nanné.. We hope you have fun with this one cause our DT members sure did.. Lots of versatility with this one, don't ya think?..

and so with that said, here is our very first Card Sketch of 2013:

and with the sketch we thought to challenge you a little more..

All of scrappers know how quickly the scraps build up when were creating projects, so we thought to add

*USE SCRAPS ONLY on your card..
You don't have to, but if you want to and need to empty your scrap stash, this is a great time to do it...

Now to get to the good stuff.. Here's what our DT members did with this sketch:

Dec 28 Die Cut Challenge .. I Deer-ly Love Christmas

Happy Friday, everyone and welcome back to Stuck on U Sketches! We are so glad that you found your way here! The last challenge for 2012 (can you believe it is nearly over???) is our Die Cut challenge and the "theme" this time is "deer."

Taking that a bit further, we are calling it "I deer-ly love Christmas." It can be any deer die cut, reindeer, regular deer or any die cuts that you can combine to create a deer. You MUST use a Die Cut die, tool or machine to create your image. Stamped images are not acceptable for this challenge and will not be considered for Top 3. You may do a card, layout ATC or altered item but you must include your deer die cut.

Okay, now that the requirements are out of the way, we'd like to share what our DT has done this time around. They have been ultra-creative!
