Here Comes the Sun...

Well, ladies and gents...this is one my last posts for the SOUS Die-Cut Team. Sadly, as you may have read, this is the last month of the SOUS Challenge Blog. I've enjoyed my terms here and will miss the Sketch Challenges and, of course, the Die-Cut Challenges!

Well...enough of that sad, mushy stuff! Let's get on to my SUMMER project!

I would love to tell you what file I used but for the life of me, I can't find the origin. To recreate this you could easily just slice any title out of the sun!

Thanks for stopping by!

So much Fun!

Happy Monday everyone,
its Tracey here to share my project for the
 Die cut "Summer" challenge.
I have used one of my favorite cricut cartridges 'Art Booking' to create the sunbust overlay.
Here we are having 'So much Fun' on Mickeys fun wheel at California Adventure Park.

Another page completed for my trip album.
I look forward to seeing what you create!
Happy Crafting :)

Hello Summer Wall Hanging

Hello darlings, Leah Schaeffer here today
to share a project from our most recent
Die Cut Challenge
posted just the last Friday by Nanne.
By the way, one of my most favorite, ever, projects from her!
I hope I captured a bit of the Summer fun that she did in creating this home decor project.
I really wanted to make something for the house so created
this wall hanging. I'm so tickled at how cute it turned out.
The little beach go-ers were chosen because they reminded me of
my youngest two. Hence making the little brother, a bit smaller then the sister.

The rest of the details were kept simple using Stickles and
Liquid Pearls, along with gel pen additions. I love how simple a statement
but how perfect these small details are!

Now, onto lots of pictures and enough chatting from me!

It's almost summer here...well, just a few more days of school for my
kids! No more homework! Yes! ;)

DC Challenge - Summer

Hi everyone and welcome to Stuck On U Sketches! Julie here from Cards By Cricut with a new project for you. When someone thinks of the word Summer what kind of answers would you get back? Hot, no school, vacation, hot...When I think of Summer I think of strawberries. Nice big, juicy, red strawberries. That is why I created this project of a bowl of strawberries. I really love the one with the smiley face.
I got this die cut from the Cricut cartridge "Simply Charmed." They have a ton of really cute smiling characters on this cartridge. In the background I used my Sew Easy to do the vine then I ran some green thread through it. Then I put a piece of red ribbon to match the strawberries on the card as well. With the official start of summer only a week away we are definitely already feeling it and I am seeing the
strawberries in the store at some great prices. This year I went as far as even planting some and I can't wait until they are ripe.
Thank you so much for coming to our blog and don't forget to join our Top 3 challenge for the chance to be picked as our Top 3. Do so by linking your project on the side bar. Thanks again and have a great weekend!
