LOVELY MEMORIES - LAST SKETCH CHALLENGE - JUNE 20th
Hi everyone, CAROLEANNE here with you today. I am so sorry that this will be my last design team project with SOUS.
I would like to thank Nanne and Leah for all their hard work and dedication to this fab team, I will really miss them all. It has been a great couple of years. Here is Nannes last sketch and it really is a great one, especially for those of you who love to work with more than one photo.

HERES HOW
Choose card stock, papers and embellies
Matt photos in one long strip of card, ink the edges
Cut out a shaped piece of card stock, ink the edges and adhere to back ground card, adhere photo strip
Start adding layers as per the sketch, inking as you go
I have used five layers behind the scalloped border card
I then added three strips of inked card down the side
Die cut a pretty border and adhere
Die cut a circle doily and add this
Now start to decorate using lots of flowers, butterflies etc
I tucked a journaling card above the flowers and added a couple of swirly die cuts
Last but not least, add the title.

It's sketch reveal time again for us girls here at SOUS and this week, we have a multiple photo sketch for you..
Here is the sketch:
fun right?...
Great way to add a few photos from your favorite event, holiday, vacation, etc..
Here is what I created with this sketch:
We've taken lots of trips lately and always drive, drive, drive..LOL
My hubby said this is too grey (what does he know right?).. It is a bit grey, but loved these colors and prints, plus I have photos of us in the car driving as its poring rain outside just on the out skirts of Georgia, driving north to Iowa from Florida.. ( I got it covered)..
A few close ups:
loved this rear view of the car, I wanted to add the no U-turn sign, since we just keep going and don't turn back..LOL
and how many times did my hubby mis-place his car keys.. seriously...LOL
now, for our top 3 from the Arrows-DC challenge

Ruth

Cheryl
Suzanne :)
We only had three entries for that challenge :(
and their you go fellow scrappers.. now you have two weeks to submit to this sketch challenge, just look for this post on the side bar if you get lost..
Till next time..
hugs

Summer Blues
Hello and welcome to this week's die cut challenge: Summer! I'm Vivian and am excited to share with you my summer-themed layout.
First of all I would like to explain the title, "Summer Blues". The photo was taken during the summer of 2013 and the "blues" refers to my nephew's blue eyes. I was trying to do something different with words instead of the same old thing.
Secondly, I can't tell you have much fun I had making this layout. It is loosely based on this sketch from Pinterest. I enjoyed mixing shapes and digging thru my stash for bright colors. A while back I invested in several punches and definitely made use of them here.
Last, I went to MissKateCuttables for the sun and "summer" title. I really don't go there often enough. Her die cuts are just so fun and easy to use. The little cloud is actually from SVGCuts.

I combined Doodlebug Designs, Echo Park, and October Afternoon on this layout. I just had way too much fun!

Although the camera blends in too much to the white background, I still really liked having it on my layout. No real rules in scrapbooking anyway.

I dragged my sewing machine out for this. Can't quite pull off the "messed" up sewing machine look. Oh, well.

Guest Designer
Hi everyone! I'm Tara from Craftin Desert Divas. I'm super excited to be a guest designer for
For today I've created a 3D Gable box I've cut from the Silhouette Store.
I love to make these cute little boxes to give treats in. I've decorated this box with my Garden Cuties stamps, Doodlebug Springtime Paper Pad and Doodlebug Sprinkles.
Here's a closeup of my box. I've colored in the image with my Spectrum Noir Markers. To finish it up I added a tag I also cut from the Silhouette Store. Then I stamped on a sentiment from the Garden Cuties stamp set, twine and a few more sprinkles and it was complete.
Have a wonderful day!!
